Royal Arcade, Boscombe

Next Phase have been working with Montagu Evans to undertake market testing for operators and small business occupiers for the Royal Arcade in Boscombe, Bournemouth.

Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole (BCP) Council are developing ambitious regeneration plans for Boscombe, with The Royal Arcade building identified as a key project for the town centre. A planning application has been submitted to create a mixed-use retail, food, office and co-working space.

Working alongside Montagu Evans, Next Phase were appointed to undertake a soft market testing exercise to understand operator and tenant demand for the scheme to support decision-making around investment and business case planning.

We undertook advertising and social media campaigns for small businesses to assess interest in the scheme, as well as consulting with industry operators to understand the potential for the future. The information gathered will be used to inform the next stages of design, commercial planning and wider regeneration plans for Boscombe.
