£8.3m Bacup Market Hall Redevelopment Plans

//Bacup was a project I worked on before co-founding Next Phase//

I'm thrilled to share the latest developments in the Bacup Market Hall project, a significant endeavour aimed at revitalising Bacup's town centre. As the market expert on this project, alongside my colleague Emma Forbes, we've been deeply involved in working with the project team, helping to shape the design, operations, and business strategies to ensure the market is a vibrant community hub.

The recently approved concept designs promise a dynamic future for Bacup, featuring an exciting two-storey Market Hall where local produce, crafts, and a variety of food and drink will be showcased. This redevelopment, part of Rossendale's Levelling Up Fund projects, not only aims to enhance the local economy but also to enrich community ties.

Thanks to Rossendale Borough Council, FWP Ltd, and the rest of the project team, we are set to see a modern market space that appeals to both residents and visitors, contributing to increased footfall and economic vitality in the area.
