I'm delighted that plans have officially been lodged for the ambitious £30m transformation of Earlestown Market. Working alongside my colleague Emma Forbes, we provided expert insights into the design, flexibility and operation of the market space. This project, a collaboration with St Helens Council and ECF (a regeneration partnership between Homes England, Legal & General, and Muse), is crucial in reshaping Earlestown to ensure the market remains an integral part of the town centre.

Our collective vision is to revitalise the market by blending tradition with modernity, securing its place as a cornerstone of the community. The project aims to significantly enhance facilities and serve as a catalyst for economic growth and community cohesion.

The development plans to introduce a range of amenities designed to attract a broad audience and foster a vibrant atmosphere. The project is committed to creating a space that not only serves as a hub for social interaction, commerce, and culture but also celebrates and reinforces Earlestown's historic market while propelling its future.
