House of Social, Manchester

House of Social is the student house, reimagined. Designed specifically for second- and third-year students with established friendship groups, each ‘House’ centres around a spacious open-plan kitchen and lounge, a welcoming space for socialising, sharing meals, and creating memories. Large ensuite bedrooms sit on either side, offering the perfect balance of privacy and community.

Residents will enjoy access to a wide range of amenities, including a state-of-the-art gym and dedicated co-working space to support both wellbeing and academic life.

At street level, the building will come alive with a vibrant public food hall. Anchored by a central bar, it will feature around 400 covers and five independent kitchens, showcasing some of the most exciting emerging food brands in the city.

Next Phase was engaged to support the early-stage commercial strategy, running the numbers, pressure-testing assumptions, and sense-checking decisions to ensure the vision is both forward-thinking and financially sound.
